Now We're Starting Over Again (Different Versions)
I heard this song before on the radio numerous time but I only liked it when Sheryn Regis sang it. wink

I also thought Natalie Cole was the original singer of this song but after I did some research, I found out that it was Dionne Warwick who sang it first in 1981 with the original lyrics (posted at the full story). In 1985, Stacy Lattisaw sang it again with another different set of lyrics. And finally, in 1989, Natalie Cole revived it with the version we all know. The different versions are all composed by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin. The same composer who wrote Whitney Houston's "Didn't We Almost Had It All", "Greatest Love Of All" etc.; Roberta Flack's "Tonight I Celebrate My Love" and "In Your Eyes" by Jeffrey Osbourne, popularised in the Philippines by Regine Velasquez.

The chorus or refrain of the lyrics are all the same. Only the verses differ. The theme of the song, however, remains the same. Love sprouted in the past and was tested by time until it breaks. Years after, two hearts are starting over again.

Audio clips at full story.
